Environment Pollution


Water Pollution

 
Water pollution is one of the problems in environment pollution that we still cannot neglect and have to facing nowadays. Water pollution is any chemical, physical or biological change in the quality of water that has a harmful effect on any living thing that drinks or use or lives in it. When human drink polluted water, it often has serious effects on their health because the polluted water is unfit, unhealthy, and dangerous for drinking.
I believe that everyone of us known about the important of water such as use it to drink, take bath, washing,cooking, swimming and for other consumption process. The end word of this is we cannot live without water!
But, usually water pollution caused by human activities such as sewage and waste water, marine dumping, industrial waste, radioactive waste, oil pollution, underground storage leakages and other. They still not consciousness with the environment pollution and keep on repeat their wrongly such as people dumping trash into the river, industrial activity and ships sailing across the sea.




Apart from that, water pollution also may come from a number of different sources, such as an oil spill from ships, it is called point source pollution. If the pollution comes from many sources, it is called non-point source pollution such as mining waste.

The contaminated water also houses and contains viruses, bacteria, intestinal parasites and other harmful microorganisms which can originate waterborne diseases such as diarrhea, typhoid and dysentery. Due to the water pollution, the entore ecosystem is being disturbed. So in this case, government tends to be control them by take action like penalty with large amount. So that they only will noticed the awareness of the danger.
In conclusion, there has the action that we can do to help keep our clean water. We can prevent water pollution of nearby rivers and lakes as well as groundwater and drinking water by follow the simple guidelines in our everyday life such as conserve water by turning off the tap when running water is not necessary. This helps prevent water shortages and reduces the amount of contaminated water that needs treatment. Besides that, we also have to be careful what we throw down in our sink or toilet to prevent water be contaminated. Last but not least, we have to use the environmentally household products such as household cleaning agents and toiletries.
